We list detailed information on various proteins on this webpage, which EnkiLife references when developing protein-related products. The protein data is sourced from UniProt, and since UniProt updates its information periodically, the data on our webpage may not always be up-to-date or may contain inaccuracies. If you notice any errors while browsing, we warmly welcome your feedback. Additionally, if you have any suggestions regarding any aspect of our website, please feel free to share them with us. Tissue specificity:Expressed in olfactory bulb, hippocampus, brain stem, spinal cord, cerebrum and cerebellum. Expressed by Purkinje cells in the cerebellum (at protein level). Expressed in immature and mature cerebellum (isoform 1, isoform 2 and isoform 3). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:10617623, ECO:0000269|PubMed:15331613, ECO:0000269|PubMed:9950058}.
Induction:
Developmental stage:The proteoglycan form decreases from birth to adulthood in the cerebellum concomitant with non-proteoglycan form increase. In the cerebrum the maximum of expression of the proteoglycan is detected 15 days after birth and then decreases gradually to reach half-level at adulthood (at protein level). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:10617623}.
