Tissue specificity：In 8.5 day embryos, expressed in midbrain, anterior hindbrain and ventral forebrain. In 9 day embryos, expressed throughout ventral anterior half of embryo including midbrain-hindbrain junction, ventral midbrain, diencephalon and forebrain.
