Developmental stage：Expressed in early stages of pancreatic development. First expressed in 8.5 dpc embryos in the dorsal part of the midgut endoderm and by 9.5 dpc, in the pancreatic rudiment specifically in early endocrine progenitor cells. At later stages expressed in insulin- or glucagon-producing cells.
