Product Features
This kit is convenient and quick. The absorbance measurement can be carried out 3-5 minutes after adding the sample to be tested. Usually 10-20 samples can be tested in more than ten minutes.
Principle
Based on the coordination effect between tetrasodium dimethylol orange and Fe3+. When tetrasodium dimethylol orange is added to a solution containing Fe3+, it can form a stable orange-red complex with Fe3+. It can be used to quantitatively detect the concentration of trivalent iron ions. In the absence of Fe3+, tetrasodium dimethylol orange is usually yellow or orange; in the presence of Fe3+, the color of the solution will turn to red. There is an absorption peak at 560nm, and the content of Fe3+ can be calculated by measuring the absorbance at this wavelength.

Storage
The unopened kit can be stored at -20℃ for 12 months. After opening, it can be stored at 2-8 ℃ for 6 months.
