The EnkiLife Fluor 555 Labeling Kit contains multiple components for labeling antibody proteins, such as high-performance fluorescent dye, purification ultrafiltration tubes, elution labeling buffer, and labeled protein storage solution. It enables easy and reliable labeling of antibodies, proteins, and other molecules for use as fluorescent probes.
Fluor555 is an orange-to orange-red fluorescent dye, analogous to Cyanine3, and is commonly used as a replacement for Cyanine3 and TAMRA dyes. Fluor555 is highly polar, exhibits strong water solubility, and offers excellent fluorescence brightness and stability, making it an outstanding dye for protein/antibody labeling. Chemically, Fluor555 is based on the Cyanine3 core but incorporates up to four sulfonate groups. This tetrasulfonate structure confers extreme hydrophilicity. When conjugated to proteins, it does not alter the protein surface polarity, thereby reducing the risk of hydrophobic aggregation and precipitation. It also significantly decreases the probability of fluorescence quenching due to dye-dye proximity. Consequently, proteins labeled with Fluor555 often exhibit stronger fluorescence.

Under specific chemical reaction conditions, the fluorescent dye activation group specifically reacts with primary amine groups on antibody proteins, forming stable amide bonds, thereby achieving labeling conjugation with antibody proteins.
